What is psychoanalytic therapy?

Psychoanalysis in the process of creating a comprehensive understanding of yourself. Instead of 1 session per week, we will meet 2-3 times per week. With more time in intensive treatment together, you will undergo lasting change and resolve problems in self-esteem, relationships, sexuality, and mood.

Psychoanalytic psychotherapy explores how unconscious factors affect current relationships and patterns of thought, emotion, and behavior. Therapy sessions are used to trace your behavioral patterns back to their roots of origin and considers how they have changed and developed over time. The analytic process will help you to cope better with the realities of your current life situations.

Psychoanalytic therapy is not for everyone. If you are interested in this method of therapy, please contact me to learn more and to move forward.

Please note that I do not accept insurance for psychoanalytic treatment as sessions take place 2-3 times per week. If you have questions about payment, reach out to discuss in your free consultation.
